Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Tahira Jibeen is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (License #7189). She earned her Ph.D. from Punjab University, Pakistan, in 2010 and brings over seven years of international experience as a counselor and associate professor in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Jibeen works primarily with adults, using a client-centered and strengths-based approach to support personal growth and emotional well-being. Her primary therapeutic modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), complemented by other evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs.
She provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anger management, adjustment difficulties, and discrimination-related distress. Dr. Jibeen has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including refugees, immigrants, and veterans.
Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Jibeen is committed to delivering culturally responsive care and helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change.
